I was meaning more the "build a buff" system with entertainers, which was unique. You can find the patent here https://patents.google.com/patent/US8764554 and I believe it's still good until something like the end of 2031, which is a darn shame because that type of system makes social interactions in taverns so much better.

Yep. SWG. The first love that broke my heart when when dev's ruined their own game. Anyways, yeah that would be awesome. Additionally, their ways of PCs teaching other PCs was pretty cool, but not sure I'd work - or be desirable- in fractured with their mechanics.

It's easy for me to pick, but I also know it's not possible simply because it's a system still owned, and hence other games can't use it. But I'd love to see the cantana dancing/musician system from SWG. Would be awesome to have reasons to spend a great deal of time in taverns. Also increases the social aspects of the game.

Absolutely. Not to mention I love seeing people adjust to what a sandbox can offer and realize what they've been missing. When enough of us see the light, the industry will move away from those theme park rail mmos that they've been pumping out.

Yeah this game is intended to be more of a sandbox than the theme parks that mmos have mostly become. For many that may take a reorientation to the good days of MMOs, but the wonderful thing about the sandbox is that the point of playing is whatever you want it to be.

Yeah I fear you may be correct, and I have the same hope. Really a prime spot for them to be is on that planet as its essentially safe, and they can do as they please without worrying much of losing their stuff. Could see it really messing up the economics of that planet if it gets out of hand.

Love the update, things are coming along nicely. Quick question. That plot is almost entirely taken up by that house. If we also want to get a good sized field going, are we going to be able to expand out plot at all?

@Jetah heh true enough. Although as a beastman I have absolutely no doubts they'll be prevalent in that PvE environment.

Yeah gold sellers are very hard to combat. personally I think a game has to be designed from the ground up with this in mind to even have a chance. I've seen some upcoming games that I think will minimize gold sellers, but even with those I dont think it eliminates them.

@Logain Man, I cannot possibly agree with this more. The whole enjoyment of watching other people game has me baffled, but maybe that's a generational difference.

@Specter Awesome. I guess I somehow missed that little tidbit. Makes me rethink what I want to do now....hmmm, might even need to move up a few tiers from immortal. Could think of a few sweet uses for a relic of power around being a commerce town.

@Specter so there is a means to do it without having to be online? For example loading up a bunch of gear into a "shop" and then logging out, which still allows people to click on my shop (as an example) and buy said stuff? That would be nice.

Absolutely love the idea of an in depth animal training, taming, and breeding system. Honestly that is what excites me about a different game (CoE), but would also love for fractured to have it.
