There's a pretty substantial difference between automatic and still having to click. By that same argument charcoal piles should be changed to add a few extra clicks. This QoL improvement wouldn't change anything about still having to produce the components or make the sacks. Would just eliminate what amount to a few pointless clicks.

Interestingly enough, I'm having a blast with this test. However, I'm also a player that loves the building, crafting, and town management aspects. Then when I get a little tired of hunting for protein, or stocking up on stone and ore, I go grind for some gold, skills, and knowledge. At this point Fractured went from something I was interested in but not sure I'd dedicate too much time to, to a game I think could be my primary MMO.

+1000. It may not seem like it wastes much time, but over the course of 30 things it can add a significant amount of time. I noticed a striking difference between how charcoal piles quickly get loaded when compared to packing stations.

I like it. Honestly was surprised when I didn't get knowledge when I first crafted things. Especially as discovering resources gave a 1 time knowledge boost.

I typically get a couple hours of mob killing with a basic weapon before I get the "your weapon is damaged" warning. I could understand like 6 hours of hard grinding, but I'm talking half assed 2-3 hours of non efficient mob killing. -

I'm so mixed on this change. It is inconvenient for sure, and yet I understand exactly why they did it. Heck part of me even thinks it might end up being for the better, but dang can it add time unnecessarily just to change your talents.

I think it's still tuned a little too high, and should be decreased a tad to wear down a little slower. Although enchantments for durability should help quite a bit. Also, I think it should be tied to crafting skill in some regard in the future.

I think ultimately it will be possible to do that, so don't count it out yet. I think all games like this go through phases during testing where they have to find the sweet spot. But ultimately even on the front page they talk about the ability to do those things on your own, so I have every faith it will be possible to be a viable hobo if thats your thing. -

Guilty as charged. I mean don't get me wrong, the trade thing and legends will be cool as well. But being able to see warehouses bursting at the seams with goodies....yes please -

I like that. Actually would make a ton of sense as carpenters are a thing (or so my Fractured package says regarding upkeep). So if we could donate those things and then the npc carpenters could "pull" them automatically for the upkeep, it would be a pretty cool system.
