From what I've read so far, stats and appearance will change on Beastmen who become Abominations. Would this in effect change the race or just make for instance an Udoadra, an Udoadra-Abomination (with some cosmetic and stat differences to distinguish to two)? I'm just inquiring about this because it might be cool to see for example an Uoadra turn into a Skaven being that both are pack oriented species.

Hey guys. I was wondering if there would be any advantages for coastal towns? We already know there is an advantage to being in close proximity to mines. We also know that later down the road, in terms of development, there is going to be sailing. Will sailing give coastal towns an advantage and if so what do you guys think it might be?

@dagimir I have to agree with you, the simpler, the better. The reason I'm excited about this game is because there is more freedom than most other MMO's who look to automate everything, even the experience (ie WoW).

@chrightt harsh. Retski was describing what he/she would like to see. I highly doubt he/she had thought out exactly how all these system would conjeal. Plus a lot of things which Retski would like to see are made possible with Spatial. For instance the NPC's that roam, battle and level up.

@grindhouse that's been a quandary of mine as well. For now I think I'm going to be purchasing the Artisan package (Beta Phase 1). I think I'll get a better sense of where the game is heading in Beta than in Alpha. Plus I want the mule and wagon.

@mae this was my reason for asking about "Voluntary PVP" because I would have liked to play an Udoadra beastman, but I mostly enjoy participating in competitive pvp with some pve sprinkled in there once in a while. I've played old school runescape so losing gear isn't a deterrent for me. I just want to play an Udoadra and pvp without becoming an abomination. To put it plainly, dueling and arenas on Arboreus would allow me to have my cake and eat it too, hence the question. Thank you everyone for all the replies, they have all been helpful.

When I say voluntary pvp, I mean dueling and arenas. So my question is, will these varieties of pvp be available on all three of the planets. Thanks in advance.

It seems like its going to be something more in-line with EVE when it comes to story. This is exciting being that those who play the game ultimately become part of the lore. The only concerning aspect is my actual life may suffer while I try to take my place among those who become apart of the lore.

At least everyone agrees that in fractured's current state its not pay to win. But what if DS went more in the direction of pay for progression? They said that there would be periods of waiting. Warframe seems to be doing well with this type of approach. I still enjoy it.
