I just saw this thread and wanted to say I have no clue how you think this game planned for a VR support. Did you actually read what this game is about? lol. At this day and age, yes VR is a new trend, but it is far too new and VR games are shallow, clunky, inefficient, etc. We still need months or even years before a well made VRMMORPG is even revealed to the public. Fractured already stated that it is an isometric game, not some half baked VR game that doesn't even run well these days.

Both, depends on what I want to eat that night.

RE: Secret ways in dungeons
I think this would actually be a really cool idea if it worked in tandem with the world outside. Would be cool if you had to discover something in order to enter the side path or what not.

RE: Further Ideas
@megatron race = faction = starting alignment= starting planet. Customization in this area of Fractured is highly limited unlike regular MMORPGs where you can first choose your faction then your race. You can turn a devil into positive alignment through quests, but you wouldn't want to start on the beastman's planet since you'll be at an disadvantage. Yeah, the races are pretty lore related, but not exactly friendly or versatile for players.

RE: Finally an MMO with an promising Idea
@dulu lol Albion please. First up you're focusing on old school RPGs with near full loot system. These type of games aren't as popular these days because a large majority of people focus on PVE over PVP in MMO these days and would rather not have a system where they can be punished or griefed by other players. I had predicted Albion wouldn't be as successful as some would say, and guess what it turns out just the way I thought it would. I'm not saying its a bad game or anything, but if you want something big in the MMORPG community, even if Albion had been further improved, it would still be nowhere as big as 1/10th of league or fortnite's player base. Something fundamentally different has to come out in the MMORPG genre to drastically change it. Sandbox/open-world? Nothing new. Full loot? Not new either. You might as well call it a modern version of Runescape in its core fundamentals. Albion pretty much makes a system where you had to grind hard and play hard, so it didn't cater to the more casual side of the gaming spectrum. In no way could Albion ever succeed. Sorry to burst your bubble if you're a big fan of Albion, but the truth is the truth. At this point, I don't see any MMORPG on pc/consoles turning as big as wow back in the days or even majorly big (the yet to release but already known MMORPGs might have a decent player base, but nothing revolutionary enough). Well, if you still don't understand, let time tell its tale.

RE: Finally an MMO with an promising Idea
As a fellow MMO lover I have to say rescuing the genre will take a much more drastic change (no offense to Fractured) and also a better time in the life cycle of game genres.

RE: About no magic skill cast
@finland I literally just said it probably won't work for Fractured lol, so yes I know. Kind of too much on their combat system to juggle many resources.

RE: About no magic skill cast
It seems like "mana" in this game is just your general "resource" to use skills (many games burn mana for melee skills too). At this point, "mana" is just a broad term in gaming to mean your resource pool. I hardly doubt there will be juggling multiple types of resource pool like dark souls or something else for Fractured.

RE: Hating the Grind in this genre
Well, some MMORPGs do have less grind than others, but if you're telling a mmorpg to not have grind thats like telling a shooter to not have bullets. Some games are harder to find ammo or have limited ammo while you pretty much won't finish using your ammo in other FPS. The point is if you don't have grind in a MMORPG, there is practically no progression of your character. At that point, you might as well be playing a MOBA.

RE: Is this a real new mmo?
Don't expect it to be anywhere near complete within the year though, but yes it is a new MMORPG.

RE: AFK activity in game ? (ex: fishing)
@jetah if it doesn't why the heck would you fish? It always translates to exp, gold, etc. Doesn't matter what it is if there is an afk activity that you can just leave your pc on 24/7 like black desert to get stronger, then its just a crap system. If you still can't see how afk activity gets you stronger just refer to those phone games where you can farm by doing virtually nothing. It is literally the same thing.

RE: AFK activity in game ? (ex: fishing)
I hope not, means the more you burn your pc and leave the game on the better you become. Stupid way of getting stronger, might as well make it p2w at that point.

RE: Taming animals
Personally, I really like the system of Bless Online where almost everything is tamable as a pet/mount in the open world. They also make a mini-game for taming and functions that go along with it. A side pokemon game always attracts collectors

RE: Seems like a good community.
It will only start when there is something to complain about.

RE: Will we get any lore teasers?
There are already a few things on lore (like 3 planet 3 races) if you look around the forum and the planet/race dev blogs etc. you should find some interesting details!

RE: An MMO Free of Levels and Classes?
@finland uh what? where did u get porn from that.

RE: Key
Right now best we can do is level up foundation level. They said they might pick some players from top foundation levels to experience the game. Also, if you're a content creator interested in the game, you will probably get a higher chance to get a key if you contact the devs. (for pre-alpha key). I think theres also a kickstarter bundle in june, but that is for the beta key? (not sure about this).
