Can the land surrounding a town/city be controlled and managed? Not the mines and stuff but the actual land around it for agriculture or the like.

@WhoAteTheCat well I'm still trying to choose between beastmen and humans for my hero profile. I don't really understand the benefits and drawbacks of beastmen staying in Syndesia. I can make the decision for joining your guild once I'm familiar with these.

Also, what does being part of a mercenary guild entail according to you? Is it all you're allowed to do or is there room for partying for adventures and stuff?

For a while i've been interested in fractured and the whole town management surrounding it. I believe that there are a lot of benefits for a town operated by a guild, so I would like to join a guild located in Syndesia that has plans of governing a town.

Please let me know if there is a guild that is planning to create a town, is adventure-driven and gives a sense of security.
