@grofire yes you should know that you are in danger. But you shouldn't be able to log off quickly and port back to home planet that way.

It's reasonable. The game needs some way to make money and while the VIP would give paying players an advantage, it dos not seem to be pay to win like many other games.

pay2advantage = pay2win.
In Fractured a new player could beat a veteran player because there are no power gaps in Fractured, usually caused by higher gear or higher lvl.
So pay2advantage, in this particular case a timesaver, isn't pay2win in Fractured. Sure a VIP member gets more options ingame quicker then a non VIP member. Good for him, but that doesn't make him a winner. How much time he spent in this game and his personal gaming skills make him a winner.

@pepix reverse the problem:
The ally within the alliance that is the attacker or defender in the siege supplies the gear for all that are participating in the siege. If you don't die and loose the gear you get to keep it. If you die and loose the gear you don't have to complain about it because the gear wasn't yours.
If there isn't enough time before the siege (wich shouldn't happen because there is a timetable, but just for the sake of this topic) the gear can be handed out afterwards as reward.
If anyone is foolish to bring their own expensive gear to a siege in a full loot game... then the joke is on you!
So less micromanagement and something extra for ppl that show up in time and help in the siege.

I expect that in this game I really have to explore
I expect that I have to survive in the open world, my journey might lead to my death (of hunger, thirst, cold, dehydration, sickness and ofc lots of violence)
I expect that I don't have a grind spot and don't have to do dailies
And I'm pretty up-to-date with all the gamecontent of Fractured

I would like sea exploration, but be aware of underwater area's. That was done very badly in alot of mmorpgs

@unuldor don't forget that IF there will be an AH ingame, it will be local. So no global AH. Take that into account.

@grofire I played AO and I don't agree. The difference between AO and Fractured is the survival gameplay in Fractured. This means what you can carry will be very limited. So you probably can not loot gear from multiple enemies like in AO. Maybe gear from 1 enemy, maybe even less...
So if you kill an enemie in Fractured you have to decide what you take. His food, because you still have a long journey ahead? His medicine or clothes to protect yourself better from the weather? Or some pieces of his shiny armor to sell for profit? What will you do???
I'm not saying it should be 15 minutes or more so I can find afk ppl. I'm saying it should be 15 minutes or more so ppl can't Ctrl+Alt+F4 to turn of their client upon death. Give ppl the time to enjoy the decision making of the survival machenics in Fractured. It should be fun

@grofire you don't have to wait for 15 minutes if you don't want to. If you find a good place to log off, just log off and leave. But if you want to log off in the middle of a FFA PvP zone with full loot, there might be consequenses.
We need this system or ppl will abuse quick log offs to prevent loss of gear.
