I do like my capes. Even if just a travel cape, which I think would fit into the lore since we need to travel and explore so much.

Bruh! Capes. We still have no information on it.

There are some important factors regarding it that we need to know:

• How will we make them, and how long will it's crafting take?
• How many colors can we use for dyeing it?
• Will there be a trim?
• Speaking of dyes: Will we be able to craft dye?
• We need to see if there are clipping issues.
• Will there be heavy travel capes and lighter flaunting capes?
• Guild insignia inscribable on the cape?
• Will we be able to choose textures on the cape or will it be based on the material we weave?
• I've not heard about my real life cape that Rumplebuttskin is weaving on DS's basement? where's the Kickstarter? will he be able to handle all the orders?

DS is probably planning something special for capes, which is why they are silent on the matter. They know there will be much rejoicing and dancing in the streets if the pull it off, and much sorrow, wailing, and gnashing of teeth it it's a half baked idea.

I know for an untrue fact that about 60% of the team is working on the capes. I have the utmost trust in them. They are so good at cape-crafting, in untrue fact, that they might as well become a cape boutique.

I'm very excited about capes.

You'll notice that DS is keeping quiet about the situation. There might be some conspiracy but I can't say for sure. I just think all these rumors about Capes need to quiet down. These topics come up too frequently, and I'm sure DS will talk about it when they are ready to start the kickstarter for capes.

But I know for an unverified and unsubstantiated fact that we are getting news soon.

Prometheus feels he shouldn't have to rely on the Foundation to have an active community. (We know many forum members disagree with this assessment, hence why the Foundation is still here).

IF he wants to get rid of the foundation, he is going to need to get rid of the bonus for posting daily first.
There are far too many people who take advantage of this in the wrong way.

I'm sure the original intention was to get people to be active on the forums, but it has created the wrong kind of activity.

If they want people to be active on the forums, then the should be encouraging people to ask more questions & providing more answers.
People are always extremely interested about the development, even if the reply only comes in a few words or a picture.

Personally, i don't care about the rewards as much as i care about ensuring a game is worth my time.

I agree. At the point when there is not enough new topics to discuss with and all the old ones have opened several times, then that daily post system just causes wrong kind of activity tbh. If developers are not active in forums themselfs and there is not enough content/topics to discuss, then it is hard to have active community either. Atm I am more like daily spammer rather than active community member.
