    • RE: About VIP in-game purchase

      One of the reasons I bought Immortal is because of the lifetime VIP. I'm not sure how central VIP will be to the experience, but I figured if I enjoy the game over many years, I'll end up coming out on top over the course of a few years. Possibly 2, but definitely after 3.

      Also, I know we will be getting a special cape that the devs are crafting, which I why I backed them. This is not substantiated or factual in any way.

      If we do get Cape Crafting though, you can bet I'll be sitting at my loom everyday, creating a set of the emperor's clothes.

      My card declined so the funds weren't collected. Insufficient funds it appears.

      And then I realised I set my online purchase limit too low. Fixed and funds collected. Glad to be part of this!

      Congrats devs!

      @lohen Amazing eh?

      I do like his answers. Cool moderator. I did like that one comment about day/night cycles, staying on topic and not devolving to talking about boobs.

      Loved it!

    • RE: How do people get so many points?

      My account celebrated it's first birthday a while ago. Everyday a daily post, every post read and retweeted and reposted.

      I've won no competitions whatsoever.

      I was inactive for about a month or so, so would have been further but it is what it is. The first days were hard because news was infrequent, and there were only snippets of information and a concept to get hyped on.

      But look where we are now! ๐Ÿ˜„

    • RE: [One Sentence] What turns you off playing a game?

      Un-engaging world with lackluster lore and uninspired design, ultimately leading to lack of player engagement and meaningful progression, thereby limiting the reason for the player coming back, feeling like what they do ultimately does not affect the world and makes for an uncaring overall experience, Ala Bless Online.

      @mazikar said in Pre-Alpha Cape:

      We should all start wearing capes in normal everyday fashion. They need to make a comeback.

      I fully endorse this.

    • RE: Pre-alpha invites!

      @Benseine The exact Foundation rank doesn't really matter. We're picking specific people who we believe will be valuable pre-alpha testers. So just because someone is at the top of the Foundation, doesn't mean they are also going to be the first to be invited.

      This, I think is excellent. While my Foundation rank is pretty high, there are some people on this Forum who really live for mechanics and who would be better suited to get in asap and start breaking the game so that the bugs can get squashed asap.

      These people should have the longest playtime, as their feedback will be super valuable. While I hope I get to play, in fairness, if a technical guy gets a spot above me, I won't be mad.

      Unless Pre-Alpha testers get shipped a real life cloak to wear, in which case I'll be more than a little peeved. We really need to bring cloaks back as a fashion item...

      I would appreciate them continuing the Foundation, but I don't mind either way.

      I'm currently level 282, not because I want to be high up and e-peen and all that, but partly because I'm scared I'll miss out IF they continue, and partly because I've been doing this every day since December 2017, and it's a ritual I'll severely miss if I stop.

    • The Keepers

      "The Keepers. Men and women, demons and beastmen. All who serve the ideals of Galvanos, the god of knowledge, are welcome within their Hallowed Halls.

      The Keepers strive to preserve knowledge of the world and collect ancient texts and tomes of knowledge. They have assumed the role of Watchers of the Worlds, and do not meddle in the petty affairs and squabbles of the other groups and guilds of the world.

      In time, all these lesser groups will falter and disappear. But the Keepers will remain. Galvanos has entrusted them with a task, and they will see it through, for it is not the end goal that matters, but the pursuit of knowledge and the perfection of oneself that matters."

      The Keepers might be for you if:

      • You are interested in the lore of Fractured.
      • You are mostly interested in the pursuit of knowledge, skills and exploration.
      • The journey is more interesting to you than the thrill of the fight.

      The Keepers will evolve as the game evolves, but for now, they will be centered around learning, community driven encounters and activities, friendship and camaraderie. They will not actively engage in PvP openly, but will step up if threatened. They are the Watchers of the Worlds, and friend to all who seek rest for their weary Souls.

      "Be ever vigilant, Brothers and Sisters of the Watch. The enemy approaches fast, and with deadly precision. Yet who is this enemy of Galvanos, who has watched over our Syndesia since The Fracture? It is not a physical enemy, but a mental one! For the enemy of our god is your inability to be vigilant against the teachings of the World around you! Keep learning with the fervor you had the first day you joined the Halls, and Galvanos will never falter. And when our god does not falter, so too will you remain steadfast."

    • RE: I suggest to continue the Foundation program

      @Tuoni

      I do agree. I see this Foundation as a House:

      You first lay the foundation of the house. That would be the game's mechanics. You can't go back later and change the fundamental Foundation of the house without radically changing the nature of the house. That would mean, just like with a house, changing the foundation midway would basically mean demolishing the game and starting a new game.

      However, there is a second aspect to the Foundation, just like a house: you can always go back and IMPROVE the Foundation.

      So with this game what that means is that when the current community foundation is set, you can always launch campaigns that bolster the current community.

      I'd suggest that DS do the following: At the launch of Beta 1, DS conclude the current Foundation. Start up a new one with some (not all) of the current rewards. Perhaps not all the cosmetics, but remove the chests, as we don't know what they will contain anyway. Create some new cosmetics and allow those of us with experience over level 200 to carry that experience over.

      Titles and Chests aren't so important, but make at least one or two of the current cosmetics exclusive, but add the rest into the new line. Then, if someone who has already unlocked those rewards in the current Foundation unlocks them, grant them Dynamight Gold.

      We don't know what we can purchase with it, and we don't know what the Gold's buying power will be, but this strikes a middle line.

      New members can engage without losing too much. Older members have a few exclusives as well as some spare gold on launch.

      My apologies for this not being well thought out. I'm currently at work so have a few things going on.

    • RE: Guild

      What type of Guild are you looking for?

      PVE, PVP or Lore/Exploration/Knowledge based one?

      I myself am more of a PvE/Knowledge based player, and have started a Guild for that purpose, but that does not appeal to too many players.

      This might help some of the other guild leaders to know if they should approach you.

      Good luck! ๐Ÿ™‚
