      So charisma is basically for supporters (Leadership, whatever it does) pet users and traders

      Luck on other hand "biases chances" - rolls : saves (sucessfully saving against spell aka second line of saves), chance to hit / land CC (secondary line of accuracy) and damage rolls (20-50 dmg weapon deals 50 dmg more often). Formula is like this:

      Also natural 20 CHA increases multiplier of luck by 60%

      Its weird to see no difference in survivability and offensive powers with such gap, maybe it was not fully integrated to game yet.

      my want list:

      • remove immunities from PvP
      • balance hard CC (cd / heavy diminishing returns)
      • present channeled abilities in next alpha/beta/close future ❤
      • list of all the abilities with their variations (and stat requirements)
      • exact info on weapons ("has a small chance to stun all the creatures it hits"--->"has X% to stun all the creatures it hits") and armours (described as light/medium/heavy)
      • give some kind of "stun breaker ability" or short cc imunity, be it item or ability
      • life leeching abilities ❤ 🙂
      • latency <50
      • fps >50 😄

      Dělat to podle alignmentu by bylo nemožný a jen rozbilo existující komunity.

      Zas na druhou stranu možnost "gankovat" mají např. hodní kluci jen proti zlým a neutrálním, takže bych pochopil, kdyby byly guildy rozděleny na evil+neutral / good. To rozdělení podle přesvědčení je rozumné.

      @Caako But then if nobody wil summon them, demons will never get anywhere out of Tartatros and considering each planet has unique materials, demons would have pretty serious disadvantage. Not talking about players with two accounts, who would be able to teleport anywhere anytime on demand.

      to taky a hlavně ne každý se shodne na hlavních cílech guildy a její náplni (pvp a zvz vs pve, hardcoce vs casual); co jsem potkal pár čechů, tak jsou už roztroušení po různých guildách dle jejich preferencí a to, že se v guildě mluví po našem pro ně tahák není

      Frenzy ability, melee gap closers, teleportations and especially mounts (unless they´re also lootable - so far they have no place in inventory) will offer way higher bonuses to MS (albeit for short durations). Move speed is nice bonus DEX offers, but unless you´re maxing it, those few points won´t probably make much difference and will serve better elsewhere ... and it certainly isn´t main reason to pick DEX.

      This is not entirely true. Even if shapeshifting has the same rules as mounting, there are situations in which it is preferable: for example, you probably wouldn't be able to mount in a dungeon, but you could shapeshift. If you just got out of a disastrous zvz and the in-combat timer run out, you can immediately shapeshift and run instead of waiting for mount summon. When dismounting, you should have CD on all the skills, which shouldn't be the case when shapeshifting. You can be dismounted, but nobody can force your shapeshifting. When doing trade runs / transports / protecting caravans, your objective will ride on high carrying capacity, but slow mounts. On foot you're too slow, mounted you'll have CD when dismounting to fight the enemy, so shapeshifting might be perfect here -> fast enough to keep up with the caravan and you can run into zvz right away if attacked. Plus, from what I read, some of their abilities are good at initiating fights.

      Absolutely agree, but speed of beastshape will surely be way lower than mounts; if not, let´s all abuse it during beta tests, devs will notice 🙂 . Still its weird that PvE specialised race gets abilities giving them advantage in PvP (except bear kin ofc) 😄

      This is why I am quite certain shapeshift speed increase will be minor, and not even remotely close to mount increase.

      Someone mentioned ghostwolf from wow... ghostwolf was a travel form that couldnt fight.

      Totally, I meant it like this. 40% is sure way too op, its basically neutralizing effect of Slow (-40% overall speed). Imo during first betas with beastkin people will complain so much on disbalance that devs will normalise all move speeds 😄

      beastkin can fight while shapeshifted

      imo thats the reason for shapeshift, personally I dont really care about MS as Im going tank 😛

      if shapeshifting would increase your speed as much as Shaman´s wolf form in WoW (+40% ms) then sure yes, but if it´s just few percents, would it really make difference when literally everyone has access to increases to move speed abilities, snares and slows. We need exact numbers of bonuses ... imo only actual gameplay of beastmen in game will show how balanced / OP they are.

      As long as these transformations don't respect the mounting rules and can be used in pvp...

      If shapeshifting would follow same rules as mounting, beastmen would either not need mounting or the shapeshifting. Lets leave it as it is, but make sure its balanced.

      @Yitra Getting to 21 in attribute during creation will only cost you 27 points as beastman or demon, not 42. Thats imo what Gothix talking about. Still it looks balanced to me.

    • Other types of "consumables"?

      Are there any other type of usable items than lets say potion, bandage, antidot etc. planned?
      I mean items like Wands fom BG or wand from DotA, or item that would summon something to help you like Horn of Valhalla - BG or Necronomicon - DotA.

      Would be craftable, have set amount of uses before breaking and would help classes with solving problems with immunities (other way than resting and changing your whole build) and would further specialise your build.
      Problem is balance ... maybe like "needs to have 5 Invocation abilities slotted" (aka only for mages) or "5+ Musicianship abilities" (Bards only). Or the item could take up to 2 ability slots or something.

      @Xzait Yep, imo Gothix ment something like "DEX ganker is good at chasing panicing targets or fleeing if things go bad, but if enemy doesn´t panic and fights, he loses his advantage as he has to play by enemies rules". Like velociraptor trying to kill diplodocus.

      If you are 2 (or more) vs 1, then no ammount of points matter where they are, several players will always beat 1, no matter how you turn it. There is no escape.

      Devs stated "if youre skilled, you can defeat like 4 enemies at once" or something, I sure hope so. Let´s not forget about herd behavior - once group sees lonely target their defences go quickly down as they somehow think they´re invincible 😄

      It would sure make sense to require big strength to wield big weapons, but the game is not simulation but fantasy and neccesity of STR is already reflected in abilities (more strength = more damage due to more proficiency), having STR reqs on weapons / INT reqs on staffs etc would be quite limiting.

      Also if you know you´re not going to be the fastest guy around (bear kin with 6 dex) you probably know your weakness and prepare accordingly - so far we have Cripple - sets enemy DEX to 10 and slows him (bad news if you have 25 DEX and count on being unhittable), also Slow might help.
      Cripple is mostly resisted by Fortitude so fast guys will have to decide between STR and CON, or go both but other attributes might suffer (unless going human). Those few percents of movespeed are nice, but won´t make me max DEX (or even put single point into it) for passive effect only.

      @Meiki Shapeshifting disabled outside of Arboreus? Doesn´t seem correct to me.
      I do know "Beastmen on Syndesia lose the powers they are granted on Arboreus", but those "powers" are buffs granted by planet, right? Is shapeshifting really counted among them? Then demons would be stronger than furries.

      or one can at least CC the enemy or tank him, even if you deal no damage you can still be usable to your team.
