      Will CC statuses have any other effect aside of unability co control your character?

      Example - Stun: will stunned enemy be able to dodge my attacks? If I got stunned, I would probably be lying on the ground unable to dodge anything, even if I was world dodgeball champion. Same for spells like Entangling web - if I was Frodo cought in Shelob´s web, I wouldnt dodge much neither.
      Or Hex (don´t know the name of ability, see in the gif here) - will transmutation of body shape change statistics as well, or is it just "stun reskinned for casters"? If I was 2,5m tall and 180 kg weighting demon in full plate, hit with hammer wouldn´t harm me much. But if I got transmuted into a 0,5 kgs weighting rabbit and got hit with same weapon, I´d be a rabbit pate (i probably know the answer, but could increased damage on such spells be at least on one of three levels?).

      @Xzoviac Yes and also magic, there´s certainly a lot reasons why they would be able to wield massive weapons, but please don´t make it World of Warcraft or typical asian mmo, where you wield hammer double your weight.

      1h sword weights like 1,2kg, 2h sword cca 3kgs, in most games however you see a huge rail you would need hydraulic exoskeleton to even wield ... and im not mentioning blunt weapons and axes with size of wrecking ball. So far most weapons in short videos by devs seem realistic, let´s keep it this way ❤

      @kellewic luck affects CC (devs stated that crit CC doesn´t give longer CC status, but luck affects it somehow)

      Concerning armour: i hope for at least little bit of realism (0% WoW, 5% Diablo III, 40% GRIM DAWN, 55% DIABLO II). But as long we can transmute same type of armour and weapons to another skin, everything goes.

      Concerning weapons: same - please, make weapons at least little bit historically accurate - at least for human race, demons and beast will sure have stronger muscles, but human with 5 kg- 10kg weighting 1h sword is silly 😄

      @Gibbx I hope that with 400 (1200) skills everyone will find a way to make build work - be it 2H or dual wield. Devs themselves stated both weapons are "viable". I´d guess for both - assassin build will need "assassin weapons" - dagger / axe, i´d say these are one handed. Maybe some assassins will use shields, but most will sure go dual wield. And heavy armored guys will sure fancy 2h huge weapons and mass crits. Imo both ways are doable for both pve and pvp, but you sure are right about "the flavour" - why would someone play something he doesn´t like in the first place, in worst scenario one can roll beastman and only kill mobs in group, each to his own.

      @Farlander From gameplay videos it looked like combination of League of Legends and Albion online. And I see it as good approach, autoaimed casts and attacks like in DOTA2 seems to easy. With some skill (and move speed) you´re actually able to dodge many attacks of your enemy by simply evading their autohits. And casting spells will probably take some skills too (so i believe the statement of devs that you can 1v4 against noobs/lower skilled enemies...at least with proper build 🙂 ).

      @Jetah And thats what we were talking about whole time - whether 2H dps (weapon alone) is the same as dual weapons dps (weapons alone). Of course with skills it will be different, because some skills will probably not work with 2H, some with dual weapons. Also play style is totally different, it couldn´t be measured in anything per anything.

      Is 2H viable? Yes. Is DW viable? Yes. That´s all.

      @Yitra So far we only know few spells, so im only guessing. But I mean for example Lich + Earthshaker wombocombo from DOTA2. Each of these heroes are balanced, but once they´re in one team ES initiates on enemy team with ulti (destroys all minions nearby + massive dmg + stun ), lich´s ulti (bounces between heroes up to forever for huge dmg and slow movement), then ES stuns some more and theyre either seriously harmed or dead. Together they can make nasty combo (and certainly not only them) and as we can have any skill combination, some combos will sure be better than others whil single skills (components of combo) might be totally balanced. Don´t know how long average duel will take, just hope for no 5 combo abilities K.O.

      @Xzoviac That´s what I would do too, but I hope devs will overcome this somehow.

      @Farlander But it´s gonna be tedious work, as with 400 (1200) abilities, proper balance is going to be pretty hard, because balance is not about single abilities, but synergies between them. Some combos will sure be imbalanced (for example in ABILITY DRAFT game mode of DotA2 you could pick skills you wished to make some super imbalanced heroes). But problem is if you nerf one ability, the combo causing the nerf will be balanced, but the ability might be too weak to be picked for other builds.

      Luckily everyone can make OP builds ... let´s hope only the most OP ones will be nerfed (or some certain combinations of abilities, that might be too strong).

      @Tuoni It counts with averages, so it´s the same, just 60 times bigger, so theres no need for things like "attacks per minute".

      You´re sure right, but im not wrong neither :

      herbivore = food specialization
      vegan = some kind of faith in healthfullnes of eating food with low nutrition value

      p.s.: it´s vegan as long as "giving the product" is voluntary
      --> therefore it has not much to do with what one eats, it just philosophy,
      so as long as you say Im vegan every 5 minutes, you´re fine 🙂

      @deusex2 If blocks will be activable "skillshots" aka aimable blocks (devs are not sure about implementing this, but who knows), then every glass canon will use this as a method of absolute defense - at least against dmg spikes from assassin specs (I sure would).

    • Armour damage absorption: procentual, flat or combination?

      Will armour absorb attacks procentually (like in WoW), flat ( like in Grim Dawn) or their combination (like in Path of Exile)?

      Im asking this, because in arpg PVP "dmg is king but speed kills" and im afraid, that if guy with dexterity 25, dual wielding and with speed attack enchant on both weapons and activated Frenzy ability (and maybe some other attack speed bonus):

      1. will take maces, ill get permastunned ( unless ther is cooldown on passive weapon stun)
      2. I´ll get attacked X times, before my slower weapon even attacks enemy (just like a bear who got slowed in alpha video and poked to death by spear user with hit and run tactics). I know it takes some skill to kite someone in melee, but irl i hate fighting spears and this is easily abusable.

      And most importatntly: if two attackers facetank each other, will 2h damage be balanced to dual wielding dps ? Don´t know how dual wielding attacks speed is calculated, but im sure once you spec into attack speed, you´ll reach 3 attacks per second easily. Two handed weapon swings 0,8 times a second and my guess is two handers will rather go damage route. In WoW having superslow but superdamaging 2H weapon was risky - if you critted twice in the row, you probably won. If you missed twice in the row you were in trouble.
      In GRIM DAWN armour takes role of lowering the physical damage flat way - so massive two handed weapons still dish out big numbers. In Path of Exile armor reduces phys damage procentually, but the bigger physical DMG you receive, the more damage goes through - if not, everyone would just max out attack speed (truth is in PoE evryone does).

      Just question about attack with two 1h weapons. Will it be:

      1. weapon attacks alternate
      2. weapons attack both at once
      3. weapons attacks have chance to proc attack with both hands (1/3 left hand weapon, 1/3 right hand weapon, 1/3 both)

      Attack speeds :

      a) each weapon has own attack speed
      b) speed is average of both
      c) something else

      @Tuoni You´re right on this one ... but then dmg would come from suffocating, right? So lets say i stop breathing for 1 second the spell lasts - quite doable 😛 But now we´re quite offtopic, the answer from devs have been given.

      Just a question - can bearkin buy a bear trophy decoration on wall and bear fur near bed?
      And when discussing crimes against nature, can deer kin eat meat (from wolves for example...would me nice irony 😄 )? Concerning mounts - as wolf kin there probably won´t be problems riding a wolf (but imagine human riding chimpanzee :p).
