There is no need to free yourself from cc like in WoW (trinket) if we get abilities for it

allright, its 90% hard CC then... but even then its pretty hard for me, once im CCed

@Razvan also Demons seem to have passives (hellfire - stone skin depending on % of hp, nightmare - more dmg or aim at night, blood - more damage on attacking enemy) while beasts have to slot their shapeshift skills. Imo planets were ment to be "choice of game difficulty" from beginning.

@Razvan One more thing - lets use this skill as example. Even with 25 charisma, it only lasts one minute. Will it really be worth it to reapply buffs every minute considering some bigger monsters will last forever to kill (in alpha some guys didn´t die in 4 minutes, others killed you in 10 seconds, buffs wouldn´t do much anyway
)
And in pvp - if you go on another planet, why risk getting both guys killed (enemy just gets the fame but anyway), good guys on Tartaros are visible to everyone for example. And if you get your main ganked in the wild while youre controling the (naked) buffer, every second counts, would be bad if you switched to your main when hes already almost dead
Also some buffs will probably be "aura" so buffer needs to be close to you, will you control them both at once? Even if this was possible, I´d rather concentrate on my main ... or tame some pet, who would buff me

, i hated long cds... but my question is about getting out of CC when im CCed. In all games mentioned above you could do it yourself, in AO, you cant, you have to predict CC, but once youre CCed, youre mostly dead ... or you have to rely on your companions, but if you DON´T have one ?

It does make sense, but for me it´s just a game and I dont have time to grind 2 chars to be more viable (tbh do have time to play hour a day :D), I´ll just go "honest" way and hope for best.
50% is a huge difference. Even if it's more like 20%, the clear-time greatly improves when you account for 3-4 DPS.
Devs stated difference between tier 1 weapons (primitive) and tier 2 weapons (steel or some metal) is like 20+% damage, so the best metal with strongest enchant will sure be way stronger, woudn´t be surprised to see 50% bigger numbers (but then it absolutelly goes against "horizontal progression").
Please don't insult me thinking I'd ever invite summoners to my farming parties. :))

But if one goes nuker way with high CHA, why not have a tank for free, when possible
will high CHA character have anything to compensate, if he goes non-pet way (maybe reduce luck if you pick pets or raise it if you dont)?

Geting out of stun when disabled?
In mmo pvp games we either had ITEMS - Trinkets which granted you skill to break out of CC (WoW), MECHANICS to get out of stun/fear/hard CC with big amount of resource - like stamina (Elder scrolls online) or ABILITIES that after being target of hard CC removed such efect - stun breakers (Guild wars 2 - there it took one of your valuable slots, which were limited like in Fractured...but could also be passive).
In Albion online however there was no such thing, mainly because fights there didnt last long, one mistake in beginning of fight cost you the fight and you mainly release "your combo " and hope for best (aka the worst pvp from all games mentioned above). But as Fractured is most similar to Albion, will we have any hard CC removing skill/item/mechanics available in case we dont evade the stunning ability (which will be probably hard / impossible, as abilities aren´t telegraphed, so you don´t know where they land ... you can only guess depending on direction your enemy faces) and if we´re unlucky on saves?...or is it too dumb and it would cause imbalance or noone would use CC?

If buffs scale with stats, then you want a dedicated buffer and I'd rather bring my own slave buffer than another player
If buffs scale from stats, then those stats will be INT and CHA. As damage of some spells depend on luck (in case of fireball difference between min and max luck roll is 50% damage), nuker casters will max PER, INT and CHA, so every caster will sure be able buffer. And inf not nuker, then pet masters - those will sure be even better buffers, as they can totally neglect PER and just specialise on CHA for buffs and heals. If equipment will not give bonuses to abilities, enchants on it will not matter.
This doesn't mean all gear will be cheap.
ofc perfectly enchanted item will be valuable, but as everything will wear off eventually, it should be replacable (I wonder how big difference will be between basic primitive item and perfect "magic metal" enchanted item (my guess is 50% of offectivity which is imo bad, but at least there´s something to look forward to).

Im probably simpleton, but this is again way too complicated, i´d rather pick invis dude (and every assassin and their mom will sure have at least one invisibility ability). But you´re sure right.

@Savitr Too bad there are only few gods, most of them rather good, and the only opposing deity is "boring" chaotic evil ("im big bad person, i like hurting everyone"). I loved amount of deities in ADaD, each race had their own gods, there were gods for every aspect of life. And not only human - orcs deities were the best. Or Urdlen, "the evil mole"
Wish more gods will appear in the future, prefarably "clever evil" - ones with non flat personality, aka evil you might love

@Savitr devs stated that equipement will be easily replacable and creating another account just to get buffs anytime i wanted sounds little too overcomplicated to me - why not go on raid with other guild mates, if each one slots aoe buff, such thing wouldn´t be neccessary
Also there´s no need to have crafting alt, as everyone can craft anything anytime (maybe enchanting alt, but again what are guildmates for ?).

@Shivashanti Yes, so basically CC should be divided into soft / hard - it was agreed in another topic that this is best solution, as hard cc wouldnt be OP (couldnt be stacked) but still be powerfull, when neccessary.

@Gothix Im sure everything has some weakness. Now talking about it : In WoW I hated being frozen by mage without trinket (sure death without defence). Will i be able to get out of stun in Fractured btw ( i mean once Im stunned) ?

@Marovec restoration, enchanting anything dependant on CHARISMA ... even warfare school has one "paladin" buff. Charisma also makes you possible pet master, so your minions fight for you (so you probably won´t need perception, aim or crit chance, as heals cant crit), so you´ll probably be also ultimate tank and high CHA will give you more luck, so your CC will be also nice (so far many warfare skills hit independently on your aim).

@Jetah buddy, you can´t compare building made of material transported by train and modern vehicles to house one guy build with bare hands without knowledge of how to build proper house; also i doubt the japanese temple was build by one monk, but rather huge amount of qualified workers and it sure is maintained to this day.
It is possible to build such house, but without proper knowledge and proper maintenance it will rot away in few years (depends on humidity, type of wood etc. and if termites find your house, say goodbye
). Also not every old building made of wood is 100% original, some parts have to be replaced too.
But this is virtual house, as with rest of the game - truth is whatever devs say.
