I am also getting the same issue. Created my character, everything went well, hit play and the connection bar went a little less than half way. Shut the game down, waited for a few minutes and re-tried. Now just getting the Login Failed error over and over again.

The servers are being hammered because of the stress test. It's not a bug, it's just a bunch of exhausted hamsters.
