I've heard from a German/Austrian speaker that the Google Translate for Douche is pretty spot on.
I'm all for flags for each News item that uses a community translator. As much as I'd hate to suggest but even some Foundation Points or Dynamight Gold for the task.

@Prometheus keep kicking butt man! This game is gaining the momentum needed to start cracking into the stretch goals! Might be a good idea to pop the first one out and let people see one! Anyway.... this is a great update, lots of answers to questions and more. I might be able to upgrade and if I can stick to a cup-a-soup instead of a night out (without letting the wife know why) it will be easy! Shhhh... no one say a word!

That is indeed how a roadmap should look like! I wish other indie Kickstarter titles would have had something like that! Kudos to Dynamic!

Very glad to see you aren't pretending development happens overnight, and opening up that discussion ahead of testing phases. Seen way too many expectations from people who do not seem to understand that out and about around games...

indeed the google translator is quite good in both directions.
For understanding the content in general it works well.
Sometimes it does weird wordcombinations.
I use google as help for my translations too, since i‘m not even close to a professional translator. Especially for phrases it works well. As a second source i use linguee.I enjoy much to give my german speaking fellows a bit easier understanding and following the news. At least the most important ones, like the roadmap.
The thank from them is my reward and i appreciate it much.

@kralith Yeah that worked for other indei dev studios too.
Have the community help you out with language translations. It's free and people like to help.

@frequencyzero Unfortunately, the community can really turn on its developers when progress isn't as quick as you would like. It's a real shame with crowdfunded projects.

It‘s up to us to slow them down, when they start to complain about the developement speed.
I want a good game, not a fast throwed out ones.
And i‘m annoyed about unchilled people who just talk bad about anything thats not like they think it supposed to be.
