See screenshot "no ingot can be created with this ores, please try another ..." message when trying to create blood iron.

Additionally just a minor thing: It probably should be "these ores" in the error text. But I am not native English speaking.

Working as intended.
Blood iron is no longer made in the smelter, it is made in the forge.

So advanced smeltery just reduces fuel costs now?

Yeah, pretty much that and reduces total processing time.

wait... so advanced smelters and the alloy tech does not allow for alloy making in the forge? just reduction of time and fuel? double ouch.

@OlivePit We can make alloys in the forge.. But it is harder than before, almost every alloy needs 3 different ingots now and you produce always 5 alloys from 5 raw ingots, not 2 from 2.

Actually, you produce 5 alloy ingots from 6 raw ingots.
