Hey Devs & Community,
I wanted to bring up some concerns regarding town sieges and how they currently feel in the game. Right now, there are a few major issues making them feel unbalanced or less strategic:
Defenders Have a Huge Advantage
Siege mechanics heavily favor defenders, making it nearly impossible for smaller groups to make an impact.
Defenders can respawn close to the battle, while attackers have to travel long distances, reducing their ability to maintain pressure.
Lack of Strategic Depth
Sieges feel more like a brute-force fight rather than a tactical war.
There are limited siege weapons or mechanics that encourage diverse strategies.
Offline Sieging / Lack of Proper Timing Mechanics
Some towns get sieged when most of the players are offline, making it unfair.
There should be better scheduling mechanics to ensure fair fights.
Possible Solutions:
Introduce respawn limitations for defenders to make sieges more balanced.
Add more siege weapons (battering rams, catapults, etc.) to create tactical options.
Implement a siege scheduling system, so battles happen at times when both sides have a fair chance to participate.
What do you all think? Have you encountered similar frustrations in sieges?
