  @Tuoni it'd be more of a wish list than a builder though. as you dont know when you'll unlock a certain skill for your build. yes it would be nice to have the knowledge tree outside of the game.

  @boogis Had a good point related to unique resources and different biomes. It will be important to place biomes on the map from economy point of view. Creating local micro economies is something what sandbox games really need. It will only encourage players to explore and create trade routes if different towns and areas lacks of different resources. That way some people can make their living as merchants buying and selling goods in diffrent locations. Albion Online has 5 biomes and 5 resource system. They have mountain, forest, swamp, Steppes and Highlands. Every biome has three different resources, one primary, one secondary and one lesser. Albion had a lot of problems to find balance between biomes and resources, which is one reason why we saw lots of different map designs in Beta. Unfortunately they did not manage to get good enough map for launch either and there is still too easy access to all resources, and local economy differences are quite small because of that. Only dropping 3 resources / biome to 2 would have a huge impact to local economies and would encourage people to travel more. So why I am telling this? I hope DS will take count this and does not make the same mistake and make too easy access to all resouces. I know different planets will have unique resources, but its also important make some local differencies inside planets and maybe even inside continents.

  @Jetah From what I could find, there was one other main thread created in August 2018. If this topic has been brought up a total of 2 times... I think we're good lol Besides, some new points were brought up here. If everything could ONLY be discussed once, things would not progress very much. The dynamic of the game changes over time, there's nothing wrong with bringing up a topic to re-iterate on it. Just my 2c. Now, if there's a thread on this topic from 2 weeks ago... maybe that would be a different story.

  @VyrVandalous I know I write on your posts a lot and at this moment it probably just seems like I am poking the bear. However I am just trying to help you here. It may do well to read up on the game and what it is going to be. How skill trees are going to work, the open world, raiding and dungeons, etc... I think they answer a lot of questions that you have instead of posting things that you want to see in the game that would be the opposite of what the devs are trying to do.

  I have played Albion Online before and I can see some similarities between these two games. Both are Sandbox MMORPGs with MOBA styled combat. Economy is player driven and most items are crafted by players. Both games includes full loot rules and has somekind of player housing. Both games are diveded to biomes which have own mobs and resources. Also the character progression bases on classless system. So some base ideas are somehow the same, but of course with own mechanics, content and flavor. Even these two has a lot of same, we can still speak of two different games or at least it looks like that to me. Fractured tries to cater more wider audience when giving PvP and PvE oriented players their own playgrounds. Of course you do not have to be either of these two extremes and you can be anything between. Its hard to cater both sides, but on paper Fractured's concept looks like a success. Even both games have classless system, it seams that Albion is the one with vertical progression and heavy grinding, where Fractured advertise to be totally opposite. Moreover, I guess Albions 5v5 end-game content with territory fight is something we are not seeing in Fractured.. I guess.. I am sure I forgot some points, but this is how I see these two games if I try to compare them. I hope best luck for Fractured and I will definitely try your game out when I get the chance.

  Legends of Aria was a great concept, but they developed it badly and released it too soon, Fractured seems like it will outshine LoA.

  In short: ISOMETRIC MMORPG click to move style sandbox driven open (non instanced) world, 3 planet with different PvP rules (FFA PvP, structured PvP with consequences, limited/ no PvP with super large safe zone) to appeal to all play styles focused on gathering resources, crafting, trading, exploring and fighting around resources and cities that can control zones (sieges) horizontal progression, learn new spells for different situations, more tools, customize armor for different circumstances, but do not grow more powerful in total damage done with same type of spells open world housing, build your home in city or solo in wilderness FULL LOOT (where PvP is allowed) graphics look very nice, and game play looks smooth so far buy to play with optional VIP subscription, that should not be a P2W feature, but rather an extra QoL option nice dev studio that has so far been honest and forthcoming with fellow players

  this all is a dreaming contest. your dreams stay yours if you wanna make them real make your own game. Devs will do their own dreams, not yours. this is how it works. if i tell you - hey clean my car for free cos its my dream, you wouldnt do it, would you? same here. who cares for kids? its not core mechanic. its just your wish which you probably be bored about after 1 week of playing. so why devs should spent their time for something nobody will care after 1 week/month of play or whatever. devs will ask you - why dont u enjoy kids? why you quit our game , you wanted them so much? and you will answer - you were stupid enough to make my dream come true but now i dont care anymore so piss off. and you will leave this game without feeling sorry. im not telling u stop dreaming, but i bet this one will not come to real. we had kids in wow, so who remembers them?
