  Guys, you should consider changing the map marker for player's locations to red or some other color that'll pop against the (mostly yellow) map. With the existing yellow marker, it's easy for new players to miss it and assume they have no idea where they are. You really have to be looking for it.

  These are some notes from my first few hours of the test. (will update as needed) First, I love the new mage staff and that quests take you through making your first set of armor. Magic users were needing a basic mage weapon. Tutorial Notes: • Quests show all markers at once and don’t inform the player which to visit first. • Quests don’t say what a player needs to do at the marked location (gather, use a station, etc) o Notable Example is the quest “Healing Provisions”. It direct you to a field, but not what to do there. • Quests lack descriptions of how to do things (How to rest, how to learn the new skill, how to make the item, etc) o Again with “Healing Provisions”, it does not say how to craft a bandage. • Quests to not check currently inventory for already gathered or crafted items. o This leads to having to repeat steps if done out of order. • “The Adventure Begins” asks you to visit dangerous and far off locations when that may not be the aim of the player o Perhaps change to an option quest outside of the tutorial. Inventory Suggestions: • Crafting button appears grayed out. Suggest changing the color. • Inventory needs sort options o Notably soft by ingredient type, such as edible or enchanting. • Enchanting table needs a sort of highlight option for ingredients o Sorting through an inventory full of stuff to find items with “Air” is tedious and time consuming. Other Notes: • Traveling is still a bit iffy, with things rooting and murdering you before you can do much. • It’s very easy to accidentally shoot things. Keep this in mind when adding NPCs or laws regarding harm. ~Bodies needs an indicator that they are lootable.

  I claimed and built a house near a spawn. Actually kind of like it, I get to harvest some good stuff from that spawn. But I do have an issue when indoors and enchanting with the door closef, if a mob wanders too close the can detect me and run in through the walls to attack me. Is that a bug or are collisions on player created structures for mobs just not implemented yet?

  General: I find the tutorial quest name funnier than I probably should XD i just like puns ok lol You can get stuck in an animation/action loop (until clicking elsewhere to move) when trying to gather from something that is empty (e.g. branches from a tree, or cotton plants) Gameplay: I think it would be good to have a chest you can take with you - similar to how the handcart works for wood/stone blocks

  @Whisper I tried to cast Fireball using a Hammer, Axe, and Dagger Well I dont thing this was changed since first alpha, there daggers were caster weapons (unarmed too, but one used unarmed . But if this was changed, my bad. It would be however weird if there were no 1h caster weapons - even shield can be used while casting spells (except Conjuration and Evocation schools), so 1h should be usable (small, not medium). Stun lock is not going to get into final game. Can you link to the source of this claim? Well soon after first alpha, where enemies were stunlocked for whole fight, it was stated by devs that this is going to get changed, cant link that tho, sorry. Check content released on February. I 100% agree with you on that. I hope that humans get fire, and Demons gets one element and the beastmen get an element as well. To give the diversity and give people that extra push to travel to other planets. Well everyone will get everything, so you are actually right. I will say I also agree that 100% immunity is a bit much. 2 Memory is too little for 100% immunity in my opinion. In my opinion it should be tiered. 2 memory for a tier 1 fire resistance that gives a chuck of fire resist. Then a tier 2 for 4 memory that does more. Etc. Then finally a last tier that gives 100% but takes up the same memory as powerful moves (6?). But prices for slotting thesabilities will not affect everyone equally. Magic casting abilities - especially offensive nukes and disables likew Spider web - are WAY more expensive, while melee abilities are like 2 points worth. And melees rely on melee, so they wouldnt mind such abilities being more costly. Or they wouldnt even use them, if they were (as many melees are going to have low INT). Imunity abilities imo need rework. Or as a hard counter to that hard counter. They could just make dispell an ability that remove buffs. Then enemy would just recast aura (not sure how silence would affect auras, but probably wouldnt, its not channeled ability). Only solution is resistance reduction or penetration. Oh boy, immunities stink

  The workaround I'm finding easiest is to use dandelions in two of the enchanting slots. That's usually easy enough if the other reagents all have at least lvl 2 of their respective modifiers. When we're on to the higher level enchanting, of course, that's going to be harder and saving up rabbits' feet will be mission critical Meanwhile, just kill every one u see and enjoy lots of rabbit dinners!

  I always turn everything to max first, then I check performance in larger fights, and then if needed i start turning things down. Foliage is indeed among the first to go (after reducing anti-aliasing down from max to moderate).

  welp, I can open access to my storage and my crafting equipment, but not my bed or my fireplace. Dang. I'd cull this post except I want to ask the devs, "Perche no?" In real life, anyone wandering in off the street could sleep in my bed or warm themselves at my fireplace. I grok that there's no lock on the door... still, it seems like a strange default. Different folks' brains mostly work differently than mine, so this is just my 2 cents.

  I'd love to be able to put a recipe together to create a stat boosting food temporarily. Wish I could have worn a warg head... Also wish I found more Chaos... But, in all, Very Pleased. Created multiple sets of enchantments for whomever it was I was about to face.

  thats the problem that emerged from early access and paid alpha. the time when this wiki article was valid , wa back when we got free demos and companies employed playtesters. now we pay to playtest and companies are encourage to drain our wallets ... by our behaviour ( me included of course ) Totally agree that we need this trust to be a two way street.

  I personally havn't tried melee combat yet, other then the spear in alpha 1-2 where i didn't have much issues with it. Perhaps the different types of melee weapons have different ranges? I dunno. I agree that u can't just have a base range of one. Having a low base range could be useful though for player mechanics in fights however. For example, in a PvP fight, you might have an opponent that likes to run in and out of their target for cooldowns on skills or something. You could counter it by swapping to a bow while they aren't in melee range or a staff to cast magic or curses. Your character might not be built towards such things, but if u r quick enough, any debuff or stab with dmg on your opponent when you couldnt have otherwise would still give u an edge

  My first suggestion was a success, so I'm going to try a second one! One thing I'd find VERY helpful is a hotkey that toggles btw ff/window. There are a couple of googledocs put together by brilliant & helpful trailblazers (e.g., which gatherable items have specific enchanting properties). Being able to consult them quickly would be very helpful. That may already be in there - if it is, thanks for a clue

  @Prometheus said in Patch Log - v.a.2.2.0h: Cotton is now the default option for Scholar Clothes - this is not really a bug since it was possible to change the type of material used, but most players running the tutorial didn't know that and were left wondering why they were gathering cotton then be asked to use linen. When I open the crafting window to make any scholar clothes and press Craft it will not work. I need to go to the cloth options and reselect cotton and then press craft and then it will craft.
