  I remember there being a taming system proposed by the developers. Presumably if you tame a creature it could increase you knowledge of the creature and thus give you KP. That right there could be your non violent knowledge method.

  To add on to @GamerSeuss and @spoletta statements, and coming from the perspective of an Albion Online player, MOBA action and experience in regards to mouse controls has always felt more fluid from a top down MOBA like perspective. I feel that WASD control schemes do not offer the same range of movement from said perspective.

  I'm loving the obvious work the Devs put in to the game. Each successive Alpha is a testament to the Devs' dedication to making Fractured its own unique game in the world of MMOs. I like that they aren't just catering to the PvPers, which are frankly in the minority of gamers, just because they are usually the loudest. I like that there are inroads to serious solo'ists not being too restricted in gameplay. Sure, we probably can't take on one of the more powerful Legends, solo, even with top notch gear, but every game needs those kinds of megabosses to bring it to life. Towns are getting better and better. One of the things me and My small 3 person guild love is building up cities. Once we've acquired a house for each of us and built it up, we love to go through and start finishing the building of city buildings and other people's properties to get a city up and running faster...and then helping to maintain that city's upkeep requirements. My GF is an obsessive farmer/gatherer type, so she can spend 90% of her time just doing that. I personally like to do a little of everything, but I'm our group's main Enchanter. and My sister is our gung-ho Melee fighter who loves combat almost as much as she loves building. (she's the only one of us that is even tempted by any PvP content, but agrees that it is more a curiosity than a necessity for her. Fractured is ticking the right boxes for us, and it is still in development. As anyone on the forums can tell you, I'm a fairly active poster, and a long time Alpha and Beta tester of MMOs, and come from an even longer history of TTRPGs, and I'm fairly level headed and tend to share my opinions pretty openly, and try to be as helpful as possible. Hope you find enjoyment like I have in the game, and that it culminates in an MMO that we can all enjoy (although more than likely with my medical conditions, I may not live to see that day)

  @PeggyHill there are plans for Asteroid content that could be considered 'Instanced' I guess, but otherwise, the Devs have said they wanted to stay away from that and have everything happen in 'realtime' on the 3 main planets

If the Bounty on the PKer also increases for each Kill close to exponential, it should realy draft in the Bounty Hunters, since theyd be both able to locate and gain quite a lot from said Bounty. I of course neither know whether this already has been tested by some means, or whether this would ruin some aspect of the game. Also I'm very sorry for any misspellings and or gramatical errors, as one can easily guess, I'm no nativ speaker Now have a good one

  @SpaceWhor3 That sounds a lot like EVE, which this has no intention of being. Fractured does have trading of bulk resources with which teams use to build large things (walls, town buildings) which is probably as close as you'll get.

  @Farlander you have the option to pvp during an invasion, which means you can do pvp on your terms (well when the invasion happens). even the pve beast world will have some pvp via these invasions.

  That's what SWTOR does. All your characters have the same last name. However, you can choose to hide your last name. Another idea I've seen is not allowing a person to join more than one guild on their account. I personally like that one as it keeps players from putting spies into other guilds that may be enemies. Unless they tie IPs to accounts there's really no way to stop players from using multiple accounts to do these things.

  I agree that sinks need to be robust to keep player engagement. I would like to do some testing to see how fast armor/equipment degrades normally in pvp activity. If, say, by the time you shoot me down your bow has lost 1/10th of its durability and my armor has lost 1/10th (from damage taken) then that may be considered a slow degradation rate and may be warranted to be increased -shrug- Having equipment that a player was using become unuseable at death sounds like a tricky thing especially if there are different ratios if a player dies to mobs or pvp. You could see pvp and train activity combined to 'farm' players more effectively. But not giving some reward to the pvp er -other than removing the opponent from the immediate area- is going to be a sticking point as well. I agree that this is an important ballancing act and that your idea certainaly has merit. I would like to see, and do, more testing and data acquisition to help find that sweet spot. At the moment I pve farm with 8 items - 4 armor, 1 shield, 2 weapons, 1 tool. I generally use lower quality materials in these than in my 'top' set but still enchant them. I hope to gather/farm/hunt the materials to replace them by the time the pieces are at 2/3 durability as that way I should be able to produce a surplus of materials with which to trade or benefit my guild. Sadly I did not keep track of this data last alpha : / . Having 1/4 of my items lost (through drop and proposed breakage) should not be a huge issue as I still have a net gain -if smaller-. Loosing 4 times (50%) would he a huge loss -but- if the above ratio is still sound then I would still be making a net gain on the long run -just much less and possibly frustrating which might encourage me to go hunting/gathering/farming with guards or friends = playing scheduling roulette. I like the idea, lets test what the system currently is in the new alpha, pretend we are loosing the proposed amount, and see how it affects the economy ballance.

  @LordGorgeous the actual gameplan as the Devs have stated is for racial segregation. To share the same guild you need to be from the same race. To exist on the same planet for an extended period of time you need to be of the same race, etc... The only time, really, that groups of mixed races might be found is on the random Asteroid events, and that just means making portals to the asteroids appear on all 3 worlds. This is not, like most games, really meant to be an interracial party play game.

  it's possible to have repairs, however, you need secondary stat that when it hits 0 the item is destroyed. IE: let say the each item gets 10 repairs while each repair replenishes the durability. once the durability hits 0 the item breaks. this would give the feeling, even illusion, that the gear last longer but it doesn't actually have to change anything. there could be a deeper system with this where each heavy repair (a scale of 10 where 10 is more repaired) of say 7-10 the durability drops 2 instead of 1. if this were the case the item would have to be repair more often to prolong the item, otherwise it wont last as long. this type of system was in DAOC back in the day.

  I do like the idea of a reagent, gem, or enchantment that gives players some sort of something once they've maxed the kp for x type of mob. Dunno if @muker's Philisopher stone is that, but it would be a nice & tradeable find for an advanced player. Maybe this would be what a very hard-working farmer might find while harvesting or bagging their millionth crop

This new magical idea is not my own but from a game called Ashes of Creation(AoC). Here is how it goes: Citizens within cities which have researched a trading tech has the option to create a "city caravan". City caravan is a bigger version of the normal wagon and has the ability to carry both heavy and normal materials in large amounts. City caravan should be either directly rentable by gold or a craftable tool like wagon. (So far this is a system for trading, crafting and maybe mob grinding oriented(PvE) players; but here comes the twist) The city caravan can only be driven by Neutral players. The caravan also has a health pool(like a horse) and when destroyed, all the items inside will be lootable by everyone. I believe this system will attract both PvE and PvP oriented players while providing a continuous content. I also would like to hear your opinions I also encourage Fractured to implement caravan events a la AoC. It generates content for cities, merchants, and criminals. Great suggestion!

  I'm sure the developers are going to announce a date as soon as they can, but far enough into the implementation of functionality that a solid enough prediction is possible. Software development is tricky, you can plan as much as you want, there's going to be issues nobody saw on the road.

  Why the call out to me? I am confused. Also finding me in game is easy as I regularly announce where i'm doing trades (and for which town) so why make it into a challange?
