  It is possible to reach frozen statues on mobs just using chill arrow and double shot. I have never seen the burning status effect on mobs even with using fire arrows + firebolt + ignite spam, I don't think it is working currently.

  At first I was thinking that, yes, Syndesia and humans are 'Neutral' but they are, at least nominally, more good than evil, in that they have more in common with good than evil as a rule. However, adding in the post by @Rife about neutral alignment, there is a point to be made for changing Syndesia and what it means to be 'Neutral' This would have to also take into account the discrepancy with loot drops for different alignments. If Tartaros is evil, and any good players there have only a short stay, debuffs(?) and the entire population after their heads, with Arboreus being the opposite, then why not make Syndesia truly, if not neutral, then at least equal? Give good players in Tartaros the same problems as evil players in Arboreus, with full loot drop if you like, but equal if opposite, and give good and evil players the same legal penalties on Syndesia. Make it so that in the same way that good players can hunt down and imprison evil players, evil players can do the same to good players. Since there will be evil aligned cities and regions anyway, then this way neither alignment can complain about unfair treatment. Neutral players on the other hand, should have both greater and less protection; on the one hand, while good players in evil zones will likely be attacked on site, and vice versa, though every player will react differently, then Neutral players in either good or evil zones could be viewed as untouchable, being attached to neither side; enemies, because they are not allies; spies, traders, whatever the situation calls for. Neutral players should be able to be attacked by any, because they refuse the security of either side, but potentially be attacked by neither for the same reason. They should be able to attack any (though not steal I would say, crimes aside from murder should be kept solely for evil alignment, only because there is no other way to protect against theft than to have the one side incapable and the other side visible as potential criminals, if there could be another way to register criminal activity that would be good, but as it is...) but karma would still be affected normally (there is a point where negative karma forces alignment change to evil isn't there?)

  As someone who has used this feature many times in various games, I like the concept. But then we would need new servers, because then so many characters will be reproduced. The game is comparatively harder than you are used to from one or the other game.

  I have not heard of any of those payments methods people have listed. If you want people to buy your product you should use globally valid payment options, that is literally your first thing to do ensure that your game can be bought easily.

  @Kazzier Sadly we have seen that guilds / the community infact does -not- take action against serial victimization and abusive toxic players. Look no further than bussy, Kos, etc... There was no in game reprocussions for their actions despite how bad their behavior was. It was only that Bussy were caught hacking that they got their wrist slapped and then only by the devs, not the players. Note also how Bussy did multiple exploits to win sieges and raids, but no group action was done by the players to punish bussy. and only when the -devs- shut down the siege system that it stopped. Players could have done something at any point, but did not. Relying on players to fix a problem inherent in the systems in the game is not viable.

You want to decorate your character, you pay for the privilege. As regards different looks for different equipment in general, this is most likely something we'll see after game release, but hardly carries the weight that it needs to be in the Beta phase of the game.

  I definitely think they cherry picked the mostly softball questions. And it certainly didn't need to be live. Only reason for it to be live is to have participation and feedback. Given the state of Aerhen after nearly a month im concerned for Arboreus. The totally skipped those questions. And it was the very first one asked. Also very concerned over the lack of priorities. Features should never take precedence over fixes. The most glaring issue we still face is the travel bug from the tutorial and between islands. Guaranteed CTD every single time. Then there's the store issues. Everyday there's more and more people in the player help channel with issues buying the game. Oddly enough, most of those seem to foreign. and gamingo is foreign. (to the us i mean). Shouldn't it be easier for them to buy the game? Those two issues will kill this game faster than any other bug. Not being able to buy the game, and then when you finally can your first introduction is a game crashing bug.

  @Ablabla I agree Also, people need to realize that just because a gaming company is having an AMA doesn't mean they are obligated to answer the questions that player/backer thinks are most important. Generally speaking, a company uses an AMA to answer the questions they are ready to give answers to, and to possibly field other questions they hadn't thought of on the fly...with the freedom to ignore said questions if they don't fit what that company is prepared to talk about at present. Why was PvP not addressed at all, probably because as the Devs have said in numerous other places, getting Alignment right on Syndesia is an ongoing process. They have indicated that they are mostly happy with what they've got now, but have admitted there is room for change and some balancing is still coming, and as far as they are concerned, that is probably it for OUR reveal on that subject for now. Thus, it wasn't addressed in the AMA. The Devs are a great group of people, and they have been fairly involved as compared to some companies in these matters, but remember, ultimately, an AMA is a Political/Publicity/Marketing Q&A used to address things they feel need to be/they are open to...addressing. It is not a free for all open season ASK all, even if they give the image that it is.

In the final game, combat will play much more smoothly. It is true that there is sync problems like there is other lag issues and ping differencies as well. Those things makes the current situation even worse. However, the core problem is in the combat itself like @Vortech mentioned, especially in the ranged play. It is the use of mouse where you need to constantly jump between moving and shooting which makes e.g. kiting clunky and unpleasent. It does not need to be this way, it can be better.

  @Prometheus : Why was there no answer regarding this question or similar questions on the AMA? Especially when publically admitting that the beta may well last good into 2023? I really feel that skipping on all questions regarding the topic 'how to make the beta more engaging and make people not lose interest in playing' was by intention, and this makes me and other players feel really unconfortable. I would absolutely expect an answer to this concerning topic.

  Proximity looting/loot detection. Something like Project Zomboid. I think if we could see all containers/bodies merged/linked within a distance of the player, it would be a better compromise of the intentional time sink of moving from container to container.. Think of the package station and a cart.. Imagine opeing the cart and seeing all the bags in the station because you are near.. Same with smelters.. Same with lootable enemy bodies.. etc..

  I like what they've done with temperature and insulation and all that, though the stacks have no effect until 100? (outside combat) so... Also, getting 60 stacks of warmth(?) just from wearing fur armour is interesting, I don't know whether in a good way or bad yet, I just equipped it for the first time (with temp) and watched the stacks build up with slight concern, I didn't realise why there were building up at first (I went from wearing cloth to fur)

  @DarthJafo I meant ones that didn't need to be paid for, and to counterbalance that, they have very limited crafting available. But the hunting lodge idea is good, and basically the end result I was looking for.

  City utilities should have more control options. Non-citizens should be able to buy non-processed items(woods,ores,etc.) from the storages and use processing stations(tubs,crafting benches,smelters,etc.) for a fee(determined by the city government) Cities should provide additional benefits rather than only access to certain techs. Territory buffs, city-only items/materials, etc to attract residents/citizens

  First, my use of “fast-travel middle ground” was never meant to imply anything like the harbors. With my idea the amount of time to travel from place to place would still be the same, however, you as a player simply would not have to be present the entire time. The stagecoach would offer folks the chance to rest their eyes, use the restroom, and grab a drink or a snack and so on. Some thoughts: Should be attackable, absolutely. How this might work (if it is an automated system) is that the game uses each characters stats to figure out how they fared in the attack and whether or not the lost any or all of their personal items, including gold if they are carrying any. I don’t think that equipped armor or weapons should be at risk. These are my ideas; what are yours? The stagecoach should be of limited access. Only one per city and once it travels out it must travel back again before it is once again available. This will prevent everyone from traveling this way constantly. I am still undecided about whether players could or should drive them or if it should be done strictly by NPCs. Like I said in my first post though this is just a very rough idea.
