If someone get reported for that reason you can atleast try to trace ips from the incriminated account and see where the path go, is possible to use a VPN too but thats not the point. The Point for me is to choose or not to build a path more marked on gdr aspect than casual\gdroff, where everyone can be everywhere in a couple of second.. Only problem with this is how to you distinguish between people who are multi-boxing and people who have more than 1 gamer in the house? My household has 3 gamers in it. My wife, my best friend and I all game and usually end up playing the same games. At different times we've had 4 or even 5 gamers in the same house when my other friend and my daughter have been gaming with us. Can't really just limit households to 1 connection or you'll lose out on what I imagine is a lot of couples who game together.

Making a character model on your end LOOK different. Enemies still see him in his gear, but on his screen he can look however he wants. You can look at his hotbar, and still see he has his gear on, and his buff bar to see he has trinkets and other procs from weapons. #2 None of the victims in these awful videos are stunlocked. They are just simply very bad. Take note of the mage who is inflicted with two bleed effects, garrotte and rupture (lol?), and he apparently tries to chase the rogue in near melee range, as he bleeds to death. He doesn't ice-block, he doesn't run away... he just panics and runs like a chicken with his head cut off and bleeds to death. This is a perfect example of why these "Casual" videos can't be used to demonstrate anything balance related. Your average player is complete gutter trash at PvP. #3 Every class in WoW has a counter to stun. Or at least a survival cooldown. Classic Rogues were opportunistic predators. Crying about stunlock in 2018 is pathetic, and shows an unwillingness to learn how to PvP. #4 Those videos piss me off for the single fact there isn't one Druid in Ironforge? Not a single level 44+ who can instant cast Fairy Fire on the Rogue? (Un-resistable by the way) He'd die to guards from a single instant cast. Trash Alliance. But no, it's much easier to cry. video 2 is naked. actually they do have a tabard on.

  Don't join a guild until you get to know a few of the people in them first. It's always the most fun to play with people you like. (I don't recruit for mine, I just steal all of Specter's problem children) I recommend joining the discord as well as being active in the forums. I prefer discord as you can actually chat with people. It's been relatively quiet lately, but you do get a good feel for people there, more so than here. But definitely pick out people who you like, you can click "follow" on their profile so that when they post, it notifies you. That way if someone seems to have a decent head on their shoulders, you can find out what guild they're in, and then look at posts from other guild mates and see if it's a good fit. Ideally, people will find good people that they like. Sadly, until the game actually starts, you're not going to know if they're going to be fun people to actually play with too. So if you do pick one now, don't be afraid to guild hop later if it turns out once the game starts to be a bad fit.

  @alcriblp Yes, I totally agree, I myself understand this part because even the big developers seem to never fulfill all of their promises. I am here hoping that everyone else here in this community also understands this because it happens too many times when an actually decent MMO dies too soon because people were never willing to give it a try because too many people lost faith in the said MMO.

Nevertheless, I like your Idea @Jetah It would also be much nicer for the spells than just to wait until it is casted. Let's see if @Prometheus or the other developers are thinking about this it depends on where the character model is facing when casting a spell. it could be away from the camera or toward the bottom of the screen. Depending on the complexity of the spell it could scroll higher than the character model. @Benseine THAT [the Priest of Mithra video] would be great for keep or city captures! @Zidroc that's the thing, it could be a big spell depending on how many lines there are. so you might not flinch for a few letters or a sentence but if someone managed to get to line 15 then you'd know something big is coming!

I know this is a little late in the thread, and no I havent read the entire 263 comments but you just said "Pvers have a game to play, pvpers, don't." I guess PVE players do. But the one think we dont have is a sandbox PVE game.. All the sandbox games are all PVP oriented.. That I am aware of. Beloc

  AO isn't that bad, but they seem to be catering towards carebears more and more with each update. Kind of sad considering it was originally designed to be as hardcore and ruthless as Eve is. Eve kept it where the most profit could be made only in dangerous sectors or at least, made the "safe" sectors still dangerous because you could still lose your ship. For Albion to be as hardcore as Albion, they should've made HCE full loot when you die. Adding a bit of risk to the endeavour !
